Warriors encouraged to take Blood Oath

Blood Oath is a joint campaign between the TAC and AFL Victoria to prevent young people from being killed or seriously injured in road trauma. Old Westbourne AFC supports this campaign and encourages all players, parents, supporters and friends to take the blood oath. What a Weekend

A great one at that, an enjoyable time was had by both the Kids and the Coaches.

and some Fantastic Feedback from Corporate CFA on a Job well Done

All in all the weekend had well over the 3000 Visitors and Competitors that were expected and there was plenty to see and do.

The Opening was Started off by the Singing of our National Anthem, this was Sung by none other than the Westbourne Choir.

Displays ranged from Corporate CFA, Werribee Coastguard, Vic Police, St Johns, SES, Werribee Rescue, Hoppers Crossing LPG Unit, Bacchus Marsh Hose Lay & Collar Tank Setups, Ambulance Helicopter,Avalon Airport Aviation Fire Appliance, and of course the Sayers Road Auskick Centre.

A 3 Coarse Lunch plus refreshments on both days was supplied by no other than the Salvation Army which was enjoyed by all our Display Holders.

Sayers Road Auskick 2011 Registrations

Registrations have opened for the 2011 season.

You can register on line by following the On-line Registration and Payments option on the below link. Registering and paying online is now the only way to get the AFL free tickets to see your nominated team play at the MCG this season.

Our registration days are on:

• Saturday 26th March at Westbourne Grammar Oval
  
• Saturday 2nd April at Wyndham Village Shopping Centre

Both days will be starting at 9:30am and going through until 11:30am.

Backpacks will be available for this so please bring your registration and payment receipts if you have paid online.

Our Season starts on the 1st May. The late start is due to the School Holidays and the late Easter. We will run until 14th August.
